Our Mission:
As Christians, we have received from God a love for Israel and the Jewish people. We want to bless them in the name of the Lord. We believe the Lord Jesus is both the Messiah of Israel and Savior of the world; however, our stand alongside Israel is not conditional upon her acceptance of our belief. We exist to comfort and to support the people of Israel, and to inform Christians around the world of their Jewish roots and of God's plans for Israel. CFI teaches the church's responsibility toward the Jewish people, and brings awareness to the Jewish people of our solidarity with them.
CFI America was formed in 2005 and consists of volunteers who donate their time and efforts. CFI America's purpose is to return the love of Jesus to those who first gave it to us through support of Christian Friends of Israel in Jerusalem. CFI America is a registered 501(c)3 tax exempt corporation.CFI America's operations are located in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. The office duties of correspondence, distribution, and bookkeeping are accomplished entirely by volunteers. CFI-America represents CFI at conferences and other speaking engagements. CFI-America has teachers and speakers available in several areas of the United States. There is a Jewish Roots course available for qualified teachers.
CFI represents Christians who love Israel and desire to express friendship and solidarity with Israel based on the Bible. The main objective is to undo damage the historical church has done for centuries to the Jewish people by showing mercy and love as have never before been shown unconditionally. CFI also teaches the Church of its Hebrew heritage and Biblical responsibility to the Jewish people through monthly and quarterly literature.
Shalom from the Volunteer Staff in Jerusalem
"For Zion's sake I will not keep silent, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest. Until her Righteousness go forth as the brightness of dawn and her Salvation as a torch that burns. You who make mention of the Lord, do not keep silent, and give HIM no rest till HE makes Jerusalem a praise in all the earth." (Isaiah 62:1,6-7)
